Public transport20 more buses to be equipped with WiFi

RTL Today
The Minister for Mobility and Public Works, François Bausch, confirmed CFL would add another wifi-equipped 20 buses before the end of the year.

There are currently three buses in circulation with WiFi enabled, according to a parliamentary response made by Bausch.

However, CFL has been criticised for the lack of WiFi on trains around Luxembourg. Bausch responded to the criticism, explaining plans were in progress to add 34 new train carriages with WiFi to the current rolling stock between 2022 and 2024.

The ongoing pandemic, however, has delayed the delivery of these trains by around four months.

The new trains will be deployed across the CFL network. At present, there are no plans to equip existing trains with WiFi systems.
