https://5minutes.rtl.lu/actu/luxembourg/a/1595094.htmlPrime Minister Xavier Bettel advised of the fuel price increase in October. He said the goal of the increase was not to increase state revenue, nor was it a fuel tax. Instead, the price increase is designed to send a clear message regarding the Grand Duchy's climate ambitions for the future.

As of Friday 1 January, diesel will increase by 5.4 cents to €1.047 per litre - the highest it has been since 5 March 2020.

SP95 will also increase by 5.1 cents to €1.129 per litre, while SP98 will rise to €1.194, an increase of 5.4 cents.
