Police confirmed that one man has lost his life after his car veered off the road on a bend by Pënschterbréck (Pintsch bridge).
The CR324 by Pintsch has been closed to traffic.
For yet unknown reasons, the driver lost control of his vehicle in a right turn, crashed through the crash barriers and landed in the stream below.
The 47-year-old succumbed to his injuries on site. The police's crash investigation and reconstruction teams were also at the scene.
