A 53-year-old man died as a result of an accident on the CR316 between the Esch-sur-Sûre dam and Kaundorf on 10 December. This was announced by the police on Wednesday.
According to the information provided by the authorities, the motorist involved lost control of his car while attempting to overtake another vehicle. The car crashed into a tree leaving the driver in a serious condition.
The police confirm that the victim was from Kaundorf and that he died in hospital during the night of 13-14 December.
