All 600 applications were filed by private citizens, and their frequency increased every single year. In 2016, 80 demands reached the Ministry for Culture, compared to 180 in 2020. 90% of cases received approval and have since become protected.

Minister Tanson further conveyed details about the registration procedures, which can take different amounts of time. Simple cases may be over in five to six months, while monuments destined for national protection may require up to two years.
