Slips and slides, collisions and fallen trees have plagued Luxembourg's roads since the snow starting coming down on Thursday. Many roads remain blocked by snow Friday morning, with a risk of ice, as well.

No fewer than 62 accidents have been reported according to police, including this morning in Kopstal, Schoendels, Mersch, Nacher and on the A31 near the French border. Drivers should remain cautious.

Further disruption can be expected as a 90kph limit has been set on the motorways due to the weather conditions.

Temperatures are set to remain freezing throughout the day, so travel safe!
