The roadworks will begin at 8 pm on Friday 23 August and last through until Monday 26 August at 6 am to allow the roads and bridges authority to resurface the road. The section of the motorway between the Lorentzweiler interchange and the Mierscherbierg interchange will be closed in both directions. The closure will also affect the entrance ramp at Mersch towards Grunewald and the northbound entrance ramps at Lorentzweiler and Hollenfels.
Both directions will follow a detour via the N7. Motorists should expect potential disruptions early on Friday evening due to preparation works.
