Post-lockdownAdditional summer tuition for struggling pupils: Ministry of Education

RTL Today
Catch-up courses will be available towards the end of the summer holidays and during the new term for pupils needing additional tuition after the health crisis interrupted their schooling.

The Ministry of Education issued a statement to parents, in which Minister of Education Claude Meisch explained the free tuition would be aimed at pupils struggling with German, French, and mathematics. Teachers will decide which pupils can benefit from the additional lessons, according to Meisch.

The ministry has also appealed to teaching staff, as well as the additional staff employed during the health crisis, to hold the catch-up classes.
