One month after the tornadoAerial footage shows Bascharage and Pétange rebuilding damaged homes
One month ago, a tornado wrought devastation on the centre of Bascharage and a number of streets in Pétange. Fortunately, the catastrophe did not cause any fatalities, but did have a huge impact on the lives of a significant number of residents.
Our colleagues at RTL 5Minutes sent out a drone to film the areas damaged by the tornado from above.
Those whose homes have been damaged have begun the first steps in a long road to recovery and a number of buildings remain in the process of construction, as people try to rebuild their lives after the storm.
