Highway CodeAge limit for certain categories of lorry driver's licence to be abolished

RTL Today
This was announced by Minister for Mobility François Bausch in his answer to a parliamentary question by MP Roy Reding from the Alternative Democratic Reform Party (adr).

Currently, category C driving licences are not extended beyond 75 years of age for general road safety reasons.

Bausch announced that this rule is to be abolished with the next amendment of the Highway Code ("Code de la Route"). Instead, drivers will be able to extend their category C and D licences for as long as their physical and mental condition allows.
