Four suspects have been arrested and remanded in custody following an armed robbery in Leudelange on Monday 23 February, in which intruders made off with valuables worth hundreds of thousands of euros.

Two armed intruders broke into a home in Leudelange on Monday afternoon, making off with handbags and jewellery valued at several hundred thousand euros.

The incident took place at around 12.45pm. The suspects were armed with a firearm and a knife. Although they managed to flee the scene, the police’s organised crime unit was able to identify five presumed suspects. Four of them were subsequently apprehended and have been remanded in custody.

Authorities carried out five home searches in connection with the case, which led to the recovery of a large portion of the stolen goods. Officers also discovered a firearm and drugs during the searches.
