Two people had to be taken to hospital due to light smoke inhalation. There were further incidents on Tuesday as well.
Just before midday, three cars collided on Rue Grande-Duchesse Charlotte in Mersch. Two people sustained injuries.
Half an hour later there was another collision, this time on the A13 between the Ehlerange tunnel and the Aessen tunnel. Two vehicles were involved in the crash and one person was injured.
A bin caught fire at 4 pm on Avenue de la Gare in Diekirch. Another fire occurred some 40 minutes later, as the shrubbery on the entrance ramp to the A7 in Waldhof caught fire. There were no injuries in either cases.
