Three people were arrested in Echternach following a violent brawl on Wednesday morning at 2am. One person was hospitalised with stab wounds. Three young men were arrested and must present themselves in front of the examining magistrate. Police are investigating.
On Wednesday evening at 7.20pm in Esch, a young man was robbed by three unknown individuals. He had clothes and sun glasses stolen. Police were able to locate the three criminals and return the stolen items. A complaint was filed.
On Wednesday morning, one person was robbed of their watch at a petrol station in Esch, with the criminal tearing it off the person's arm. An investigation is ongoing.
On order of the court, alcohol checks were executed between 7.45pm and 11.15pm in Weiswampach. This involved 548 drivers, of which 9 were over the legal limit. Three licenses were revoked.
A further two licenses were revoked in Esch after two drivers attracted the attention of police. Both had been drinking excessively.
