The City of Luxembourg has declared the reopening of the Bambësch playground on rue de Bridel, following its closure last week due to the presence of oak processionary caterpillars.
The caterpillar nests have been removed from the relevant trees.
However, as the caterpillars can reappear or appear in other areas, the authorities advise visitors to be vigilant in order to avoid potential health risks.
