Burglars also broke into apartments on Rue Marie-Adelaide in Hollerich, Route de Burange in Dudelange, Rue de l'Alzette in Esch-sur-Alzette, Cité Henri Grey in Differdange, and in Schrassig.

In most cases they stole jewellery, other valuable items, and cash.

Police intervene 24 times for noise nuisance

Officers had to intervene in Dudelange (twice), Walferdange, Differdange, Merl, Esch-sur-Alzette (five times), Hassel, Petange (twice), Capellen, Bertrange (three times), Itzig, and Luxembourg City (six times) over the course of Saturday night.

The majority of interventions were due to loud parties at private buildings or bars. Police also had to urge three groups of teenagers to be more quiet as they walked through the streets. One neighbour was also ultimately fined as they refused to calm down in front of the police patrol.
