Shortly after 5pm on Wednesday, two cars collided on the A4 between Lallange and Foetz, injuring one person. Rescue teams from Esch-sur-Alzette and Schifflange responded to the scene.
A more serious incident was reported at 5.45pm in Kayl on Rue Dideschpont, according to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS). A person was struck by a train and injured. Rescue teams from Dudelange, Esch-sur-Alzette, and Kayl were deployed.
Just over an hour later, CGDIS teams from Nordstad, Ettelbruck, and Ingeldorf were called to Diekirch after a collision between a car and a motorcycle on Route d’Ettelbruck left one person injured.
Shortly before midnight, another accident involving a vehicle occurred in Kayl on Route de Schifflange. One person was injured and rescue teams from Kayl attended the scene.
