An accident occurred on the N12 between Féitsch and Derenbach at around 7.20 am on Tuesday morning. A driver crashed her car into a tree, most likely due to the winter conditions. The impact of the collision led to the engine being ejected out of the car. Emergency services took the injured driver out of the car and administered treatment on the spot. During the clean-up work, the road was completely closed off to traffic.
Also on Tuesday morning, a crash involving three vehicles led to a pile-up on the A3, between the border and the Bettembourg interchange.
Further accidents occurred on Rue Robert Schuman in Frisange at around 6.40 am, where one person was injured in a crash between two cars, and on the road between Grevenmacher and Mertert at about 10.22 am, where a car caught fire.
