Luxembourg CityCFL building to be demolished in Gare area

Christophe Hochard
The building, which dates back to 1946, has housed many duties over the decades. Now, it will make way for a new road.

The old maintenance building belonging to CFL once stored goods bound for the railway. In more recent years, it has housed training sessions, as well as a train simulator. Work has been taking place at the site since September.

The building will be demolished over several phases, with works expected to conclude in February or March. The cost is expected to reach around €577,000. It will make way for the new N3 road.
