Police in Ettelbruck were called several times on Wednesday morning to a residence on Groussgaass, where a man repeatedly loitered outside a woman's home. During their first intervention, officers encountered the man nearby. After retrieving his personal belongings from the flat, police instructed him to leave the area.

However, the man soon returned and attempted to force entry by damaging the front door. When confronted by officers again, he became uncooperative, insulted and threatened them, and ultimately offered strong resistance to arrest. On the instruction of the public prosecutor’s office, the man was taken into custody and brought before an investigating judge the following day.

During a security search, officers also found a small amount of hashish in the man's possession. The necessary reports have been filed in connection with the drug offence.
