Rail passengers travelling between Luxembourg and Belgium face several days of disruption due to strike action beginning Sunday evening, the Luxembourg National Railway Company (CFL) has announced.

Services are expected to be affected from 10pm on Sunday, 8 March, until 10pm on Wednesday, 11 March 2026. The industrial action in Belgium will impact multiple cross-border connections during this period, according to CFL.

The affected lines include Luxembourg City to Arlon via Kleinbettingen, Luxembourg City to Gouvy via Ettelbruck and Troisvierges, and Luxembourg City to Athus via Bascharage-Sanem and Rodange.

CFL advises passengers to check the traffic status before starting their journey. Updated timetables are available on the company’s website or via its mobile app.

The railway company has stated that disruptions may persist for the entire duration of the strike and has urged travellers to plan accordingly.
