Three weeks ago, Champ Cargosystems announced that around 10% of their employees will be let go.
After "weeks of difficult negotiations", the Luxembourg Confederation of Christian Trade Unions (LCGB) announced today that an agreement has been reached. Although the union initially aimed at preserving the jobs in question, they note that "satisfactory departure conditions" have been established within a redundancy programme for those who are forced to leave the company.
