43 space companies have settled in the Grand Duchy and half of them are specialized in the satellite sector.

According to Stephane Lascar from the Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) of the European Space Agency (ESA), the core business of key companies such as Luxembourg-based SES is undergoing profound changes.

The satellite-TV era is coming to an end and gradually replaced by more efficient internet streaming services.
