One of the key issues is the functioning of the national swimming and sports centre, the Coque in Kirchberg. The Coque's future will see a reduced events programme with an increased focus on sports. As minister of sports Dan Kersch highlighted, the Coque's initial purpose was for sports clubs and schools to have a dedicated space.

The next step is for the management team of the Coque, those in charge of the dossier at the ministry of sports, and the Luxembourgish Olympic and Sporting Committee (COSL) to meet and examine ways to drive the focus on sports. In these meetings, Kersch hopes that there will be concrete results.

At the parliamentary committee meeting, members also discussed financial support for sports clubs and data protection. Kersch praised the initiative and spirit of the members at the meeting afterwards.
