Molitor, a well-known figure in the finance world, had presided over the non-profit for the last two years. ADA celebrated its 15 anniversary last year.
The financial expert was also a member of the board at consulting firm Innpact.
Among those expressing their reaction to the news of Molitor's passing was Minister of Economy Franz Fayot, who took to Twitter to express his sadness and praised Molitor's devotion to the advancement of inclusive finance in Luxembourg.
