The incident took place at 9.20am on Rue Sigefroi in the capital. A municipal worker was standing on a wall to work when the wall gave way, causing the man to fall. He sustained life-threatening injuries as a result.
The technical police attended the scene by order of the public prosecutor's office, accompanied by the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) and a special investigative judicial police unit. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the accident.
