The case concerned whether a woman had stolen jewellery in June 2013 or not. The woman had been caring for an elderly man who died in November 2013 aged 74.
Various witnesses and the defendant had different testimonies on how she had acquired the jewellery in question, the defendant maintaining they were hers and seeming relatively relaxed throughout the trial.
At one point in the trial, the topic of whether the man had been poisoned came up, but the court dismissed the accusation alongside an accusation of abuse of weakness. The woman was acquitted on Thursday.
