The court confirmed the first trial's ruling on Tuesday afternoon.
The case concerned a fatal accident which happened between Reichlange and Niederpallen. The vehicle had six passengers and crashed head-on into a tree after hitting another tree. A 19-year-old died in the accident and a further four were injured.
The driver's insurance company had appealed the first ruling, which dictated that the parents and sister of the deceased by paid €90,000 in damages.
Two of the injured youths were guaranteed damages of €8,500 each whilst awaiting an expert's verdict.
The driver was sentenced to a 15-month suspended prison sentence.
The court rejected the insurance company's appeal and kept the verdict as it had been proclaimed in the initial trial.
