In February 2018, the Court of Appeals ruled that the three main defendants would receive prison sentences of between eight and twelve years, although three being part suspended sentences. The court also fined two of those defendants €10,000 each and the third €2,500.

The Court of Cassation, which reexamines the legislation used to justify sentences, upheld those sentences. As there are 21 defendants in total, the process is ongoing. In September, the court will examine the cases of the house owner and the main defendant.

The whole affair concerns an international drugs network that sold drugs in the station neighbourhood in Luxembourg City. The police intervened in the network in October 2015.
