The A1 was heavily congested on Thursday from the croix de Gasperich to Hamm: a lorry and a car collided at approximately 5.15 pm, one kilometre before the exit Sandweiler/Hamm.
The right-hand lane was blocked, which caused a traffic jam of about seven kilometres. However, by 6.30 the traffic had returned to normal.
