Two separate road accidents on Tuesday evening left two people injured, including a cyclist struck by a car in Esch-sur-Alzette.

On Tuesday evening, two road accidents were reported, which left one person injured in each incident.

Shortly before 5pm, a car left the road on the CR306 between Bissen and Pettingen and ended up in a field. Firefighters from Bissen and paramedics from Mersch attended the scene.

At around 6.20pm, the emergency medical unit (SAMU), firefighters and paramedics from Esch were called to the Grand-Rue in Esch, where a cyclist had been struck by a car.
