On Wednesday, the prosecution demanded a 3.5 year prison sentence, a fine of €250,000, and the seizing of 324 watches.
Today on Thursday, Mr Temime, Becca's attorney, argued that the prosecution consistently misrepresented his client over the past two weeks, noting that the businessman had no personal reasons for making the investments ten years ago. He thus argued that the accusations of money laundering would be completely unfounded.
With the final statement of the case having been spoken, the defendant now has to await the verdict, which is to be announced on 4 March. In case Becca desires to appeal the decision, his legal team will have a period of 40 days to do so.
