According to the municipality, inspections revealed that the structural foundation is not thick enough, the quality of the concrete is inadequate and rust has been identified in several areas. Fire protection standards are also not met.
The municipality further stated that constructing a new building would offer several advantages, including the opportunity to create a larger and more modern town hall. The additional costs compared to the planned renovation are estimated at around €1 million.
