Once on site, the officers found two people and a dog. Both the animal's owner and the other person had a wound on their head.

However, the latter had also seemingly been bitten by the dog.

Initial investigations revealed that the dog attack was in fact what had triggered the physical altercation between the two individuals.

The public prosecutor's office was informed, and the dog seized.

The animal was brought to the animal shelter in Gasperich.

Meanwhile, at around 9.45 pm, unknown culprits ripped a necklace from a pedestrian's neck on Place d'Armes in Luxembourg City.

However, the robbers dropped the necklace while trying to escape. The victim seized the opportunity and stepped on the necklace in order to avoid it being stolen.

They then explained to the robbers that the necklace was a heirloom and offered them a bracelet instead. The three culprits accepted the deal and escaped.

Another group of culprits was caught red-handed while trying to break into a shop in rue Michel Welter in Luxembourg City on Friday morning.

Two of the suspects were later found in Quartier de la Gare and arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor's office. They were presented to an examining magistrate. Their two accomplices have yet to be found.
