At around 6.30pm on the N15 in Oberfeulen, a motorist attempted to overtake another car and collided with the vehicle, causing minor injuries to its driver. Both motorists were taken to hospital for a check-up. The driver later tested positive for alcohol and drugs and was required to surrender his driving licence.
At around 9pm, another motorist crashed into two houses on Avenue Charlotte in Differdange before fleeing towards Oberkorn without stopping. Police located the driver shortly afterwards. A breathalyser test proved positive and the individual was also required to hand over their driving licence. The vehicle was seized on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office.
