A driver lost control over his vehicle on the slippery road and collided with a tree on the passenger side of the car. The violent impact saw the engine of the vehicle catapulted into a nearby meadow.
Emergency services from Larochete, Mersch police, and firefighters from Larochette and Fischbach were at the scene.
