Following a hit-and-run accident in Rambrouch, police are appealing for witnesses and advising motorists not to pick up hitchhikers in the area.
The collision between a car and a bus occurred on the CR308 in Rambrouch on Wednesday at approximately 11.36am, according to police.
The driver of the car fled the scene on foot. A search operation has been launched but has so far failed to locate the individual. Authorities are urging drivers in the area to avoid picking up hitchhikers and to report any suspicious persons immediately by calling the police emergency number 113.
