At about 2 am on Saturday, a driver in Esch-sur-Alzette decided to take to the roads despite being intoxicated.
It quickly turned out that this had been a bad idea as he just barely avoided crashing into a police patrol while driving at high speed.
According to police reports, the officers immediately took on the pursuit with flashing lights, but the individual refused to stop.
Police finally managed to stop the vehicle near Terres Rouges. Upon inspection, they discovered that the driver was intoxicated and suspended his driving license.
