
According to the police, the second driver approached the offender's car in order to sort the matter out in a friendly manner, but the latter quickly fled in the direction of Esch-Belval.
The victim immediately alerted the Esch-sur-Alzette police, who finally managed to track down the offender in Luxembourg. A breathalyser test came back positive, and their driving licence was confiscated.
At around 11.30 pm on Friday evening, a police patrol followed a car that had just run a red light in the direction of Salzhaff in Hollerich. The driver was checked, and it turned out that they too had consumed too much alcohol to drive and thus had to hand over their licence. The three passengers were all given penalty notices for violating the 11 pm curfew.
