A driver had to bid farewell to his license after committing several traffic violations in Esch-sur-Alzetteon Monday night.

A driver was in a bit of a hurry when he overtook a police car on Boulevard Charles de Gaulle in Esch-sur-Alzetteon Monday night. Officers managed to pull him over shortly after the incident. They found that the driver had been drinking before getting behind the wheel. He was not allowed to continued his journey and police issued a provisional driving ban.

Police also reported that an accident took place on Monday evening. A car and a motorcycle had collided. The motorcyclist was brought to the hospital for a check-up. A red light had been ignored.

Two individuals were found to have marijuana on them on Rue Origer in Luxembourg City. Police seized the drugs and lodged a formal complaint.
