PétangeDrunk driver tops 130km/h in town centre in police chase

RTL Today
Police officers spotted a car driving at high speed near Place du Marché in Pétange shortly after midnight on Friday night.

The driver, seemingly in a hurry, took the direction of Lamadelaine before being pursued by the police. He did not want to stop and accelerated to speeds of over 130km/h in the middle of town.

The driver was finally stopped in a car park, where officers were forced to immobilise him because he did not comply with the orders given to him.

The officers then took a breathalyser test and found that the driver was in fact inebriated. The driving licence was immediately revoked.
