The man in question went on a rampage and started threatening staff members inside the hospital, until the police was alerted to his presence. Officers determined that he was under the influence of alcohol and brought him to the station to sober up overnight.
Another police intervention took place on Wednesday afternoon. A driver was caught cutting off a patrol car on Boulevard de la Pétrusse in Luxembourg City. When the police stopped the car and tried alerting the driver to his mistake, they found that he was under the influence of illegal substances and already serving a driving ban. He was furthermore in possession of 27 grams of marijuana, which the police confiscated.
