At around 3pm, police received reports of a heavily intoxicated individual bothering pedestrians at Porte de France. After a discussion with officers, the man departed, but was found shouting at passersby again two hours later. He was subsequently taken into custody to sober up.

In the early hours of Friday morning, police were alerted to someone exhibiting threatening behaviour on Rue de Rumelange. Arriving at the scene at around 3am, officers found two people sitting in a car. The driver was holding a knife. When the officers asked the woman to drop the weapon, the passenger took the knife off her and threw it on the ground. Both were taken to the police station, where they refused to cooperate and showed signs of being on drugs. The authorities issued a driving ban and wrote up the incident due to the threats.
