Before midday, a tree caught fire on Rue Belair in Petange. Firefighters also had to attend a burning garage on Rue de l'Egalité in Bonnevoie. Several hours later, firefighters were called to the area again following an issue with a gas bottle on Rue de Cimetière.
At 2.20 pm, a fire broke out in a pipeline on Route de l'Europe in Remich. Some greenery also caught fire on Rue Barbourg in Esch-sur-Alzette.
According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps report, several vans caught fire between Erpeldange-sur-Sûre and Ingeldorf just before 4 pm.
CGDIS confirmed that the fires only caused material damage.
