Quality of Work IndexEmployee representatives call for reduction in working hours

RTL Today
Employees' well-being at work is at its lowest level since 2013, for the second year running, according to the latest Quality of Work Index.

The index, published by the Chamber of Employees (CSL), said that although physical strains on the workplace had diminished over the past year, the number of working hours and availability outside the office had crept up.

Compared to 2020, teleworking has increased even more, particularly for cross-border workers and in the finance and insurance sectors. Employee representatives have therefore called for a reduction in working hours.
