
Cyclists will not be the only ones to benefit from this new structure connecting two cities in the country’s south, as pedestrians will have their own space as well.
The proposed elevated walkways, which will be 7.5 metres high and 1.2 kilometres long, will provide soft mobility users with a stunning view of the region’s industrial heritage.
The authorities have announced that the project would be completed “in a few weeks,” and have released some first images of the imposing footbridge that will traverse the Terres Rouges landscape.
