The total financial amount being treated in Luxembourg has increased on the other hand, reaching close to 4,600 billion euros. The Financial Sector Supervisory Commission issued a press statement on Tuesday, communicating the recent developments.
This is almost twice the amount that was being managed in 2010 (2,000 billion euros), whereas the number of active funds has only slightly increased from 3,550 to 3,664.
