Fortunately no one was injured in the blaze, which broke out at the Atelier on Monday evening at around 8pm.
The CGDIS confirmed the fire had taken place at the city centre venue in its Monday evening report, which also included another fire in the capital three-quarters of an hour later.
The fire has thankfully only caused material damage as the flames seen in the photos posted on the A's social media by the concert hall's managers suggested things could have been much worse.
2020 has already been quite a rough year for the music industry and though the team seem to have take this additional knock in their stride, it is a further setback they could have done without.
As the images in the above gallery detail, the fire crews were able to extinguish the flames before any significant damage was done.
Firefighters from the capital who responded to the scene were then also mobilized to a building on Boulevard Franklin Roosevelt to deal with yet another fire.
This incident also did not lead to any injuries.
