The association of educators has now released a statement to convey that a first meeting with the Minister of Education took place last week. Representatives note that it was the first step towards ensuring the quality standard in the training programmes of educators. They are happy to announce that Minister Meisch guaranteed full transparency.
Members of the association will thus be integrated into the evaluation team overseeing the pilot project. Furthermore, the number of students admitted to the educator classes will not be reduced. The first courses are set to be launched next year with classes of up to 23 students. The aim of the initiative is to train more educators.
