Post Luxembourg reported a technical disruption on Wednesday morning that affected a number of its services.
Postal and financial services at retail locations, as well as eboo digital banking, were temporarily unavailable. This included online banking features and the ability to pay by card.
The company said the incident was resolved at 11.15am, with all affected services once again available and operating normally.
Post’s telecommunications services remained fully operational throughout the incident and were not affected.
The company had said that technical teams were working to restore all services as quickly as possible.
POST Luxembourg also emphasised that the issue was unrelated to last July's migration of its core banking system. Furthermore, there was no indication that a cyberattack was involved.
