Police intercepted a motorist travelling at 182 km/h instead of the legal limit of 90 km/h in the Cents tunnel on the A1 motorway on Friday evening.
The driver was heading for Luxembourg when he was arrested by the police. Officers seized his license and issued a sizeable fine.
A "Sunday driver" was also intercepted yesterday, flashed as he sped down the N15 national road in Oberfeulen at 169 km/h, a fair bit over the 90 km/h limit.
This driver, too, was issued a fine and had his license revoked.
